Screenprints
In loving memory...
Dennis O'Neil was an amazing printmaker, faculty at Corcoran College of Art+Design (now George Washington U.), my mentor and friend. He passed away on Nov 2, 2020, after battling Progressive Supracuclear Palsy (a neuro-degenerative disease) for several years.
As a way of remembering him and saying thanks, I've collected the prints we made together in his studio Hand Print Workshop International, in Alexandria, Virginia, and combined them with personal stories on what it was like to collaborate with him. He's played a large role in how I view art and how I work with other artists. But most importantly, he introduced me to woodcuts and woodcut printing. For that I'm forever grateful.
Dennis, I always wish that the good times would linger a little longer... Miss you!
